9/10/09: Finally, my very own Lotus

After 12 years of obsessing, wanting and dreaming I finally collected my very own Lotus, a Seeries 2 Elise. Beautiful beautiful car that corners like it's on rails, weighs less than a mini, has fantastic acceleration, and makes me grin like a loon. here is my new baby at Thorpe Abbotts Control Tower museum.

Plans for the future are to take it to the famous Stelvio Pass in Switzerland, take it to leMans, Spa, plus a few laps round the 'Ring.

15/7/09: Wingwalk with Team Guinot

Yes, I was strapped to a Stearman biplane for 10 minutes for some barnstorming passes, climbs and gentle dives - no loops mind you! An awesome experience at the Team Guinot HQ in Cirencester, highly recommended if you are a daredevil and aren't scared of heights!! Wind speeds of up to 150mph battered my body, I could barely move my limbs due to the force of the air against me, and I am now full of admiration for the girls who do this full time, they are athletes to do what they do up there at faster speeds and upside down too. Go girls!
