2005 DiaryTen Days in Dahab Ten fabulous days in Dahab and my first time diving the Red Sea. We dived with Desert Divers who my brother worked for as a Divemaster last year, and what a fab service they offered. Great equipment, great chillout area for after dives, smashing food and a whole bunch of friendly staff. Highly recommended! The sites we dived were:
I wrote an incredibly long journal about my whole stay, including dive site descriptions, if you want to sit through it click HERE - other than that enjoy the pics! I thoroughly recommend Dahab if you want fab diving, bargain acommodation (10 days accom. for me was equivalent of £20!!), cheap shopping, and above all - complete utter chillout relaxation. If you like dashing around and doing stuff every minute of the day then DON'T go to Dahab. Time moves more slowly there, people don't rush they amble, everyone sits, chills, people-watches, chats, makes friends, it's great. We flew with Thompsons airlines for £220 return, we stayed at the Marine Garden Bedouin Camp, and the rest of the holiday costs depends on how much diving you want to do!
